Where This Zone Comes From

I’m Yuli.

I’m a software engineer by nature, and I spent most of my career building software. A few years ago, due to unexpected circumstances, I transitioned into QA and to be honest, that shift completely changed how I see software development and gave me a much wider perspective on quality.

As a developer, I didn’t always fully understand the depth, responsibility, and technical impact of quality assurance. Like in many teams, QA is often undervalued or seen as less technical or less important than development. But after stepping into this role, I came to understand how essential QA contribution is to build successful software.

Development and QA are two sides of the same coin, yet there’s often a cultural and technical gap between them. QA is frequently seen as an afterthought in the development process. But real software quality starts much earlier, it requires collaboration, communication, and shared responsibility across the entire team.

What Is Code & QA Zone?

Code & QA Zone is a space to share content, tools, resources, tips, tutorials, and real-world experiences and real-world experiences from both development and QA.

It’s not about separating content into “dev stuff” and “QA stuff.” It’s about creating a zone where both worlds meet, learn from each other, and grow together.
